The progress of the implementation of the development project and the subsequent cooperation, addressed within the workshop

The participants of the best practice exchange workshop discussed the progress made in implementing the activities of the Cooperation Project between the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova (CoARM) and the National Audit Office of Sweden (NAOS). The event was organized by NAOS in Stockholm, Sweden, between November 29 and December 2.

The CoARM’s team, led by Andrei Munteanu, the Project leader, Member of the CoARM, presented the future vision regarding bilateral and multilateral cooperation, both in terms of strengthening the quality management system, and in other areas, such as processes and management policies human resources, strengthening financial audit capacities, training and strengthening the management team, promoting communication and multilateral institutional cooperation, etc.

Also, in the context of the workshop, was organized a meeting with the NAOS’ experts involved in strengthening the CoARM’s capacities in areas such as human resource management and management and leadership. Ecaterina Paknehad, component leader, informed about the implementation of the planned activities for the consolidation of these areas, the development of strategies and policies in the field of human resources management, staff recruitment, training and professional development of employees, as well as the promotion of modern management and leadership methods.
