The results of the latest support missions within the EU's Project, discussed during a teleconference

The progress made in the latest support missions by European experts was discussed during a teleconference on 29 October.

EU’s expert Peeter Latti reported on the activities carried out in October, with the involvement of employees of the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova (CoARM), in the context of developing the multiannual audit strategy, communication strategy, cooperation with Parliament, integration of communication in the audit process, etc.

The results of the mandatory financial audits, carried out in the current year, the lessons learned from the implemented activities, the quality control of the financial audits and the strengthening of the quality assurance capacities with the support of expert Kevin Suttie, were also discussed by the participants.

In addition to the mentioned experts, the meeting brought together the representative of the European Union Delegation to Moldova, Josip Joric, the Members of the Court of Accounts, Petru Rotaru and Andrei Munteanu, the Head of the CoARM’s Apparatus, Ecaterina Paknehad, and other representatives of the institution.

The Court of Accounts presented the results of the audits of the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development to the Profile Committee
