The Court of Accounts participates in the Career Week, organized by the Center for Excellence in Economics and Finance

The Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova (CoARM) responded to the invitation from the PI Center for Excellence in Economy and Finance to participate in the Career Week during February 20-24.

The event is traditionally organized every year, with activities such as seminars, trainings, workshops, etc., aimed at increasing the relevance of education, correlated with the demands of the labor market.

In this context, Ecaterina Paknehad, Head of the CoARM’s Apparatus, participated, as a trainer, in a seminar organized on February 22. Ms. Paknehad spoke to the students about the importance of the Court of Accounts, as the supreme audit institution, in order to ensure good governance and efficient management of public finances and state patrimony.

The students were familiarized with the CoARM's mission, vision, values ​​and goals. In the same way, those present were informed about the institution's mandate, organization, attributions and powers.

In the context of the latest national and international evaluations of the Court of Accounts, Ecaterina Paknehad presented the summary of the main findings and recommendations, which confirm the progress made by the CoARM in achieving strategic objectives and alignment with international profile standards.

Mrs. Paknehad also reported on the specifics of the position of public auditor, its responsibilities and duties, the importance and actuality of the specialties that young people study and the possibilities of employment in the field of work, etc.
