Meeting of the EUROSAI Working Group on Information Technologies

The EUROSAI Working Group on Information Technologies (IT) had a reunion of ITASA consolidation (IT Audit Self-assessment), on 24th of March 2015, in Bern, Switzerland.

At this event participated representatives of the Supreme Audit Institutions from 14 countries: Albania, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Switzerland, France, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Hungary, Turkey and the Republic of Moldova. The delegate of the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova was Petru Dontu, State Controller within IT Audit Division.

The workshop was organized and hosted by the Swiss Federal Audit Office, which is the ITASA (IT Audit Self-assessment) and ITSA (IT Self-assessment) project leader, empowered by the EUROSAI Working Group on IT.

Currently, the Presidency of EUROSAI Working Group on IT is owned by the SAI of Poland, which is also responsible for Area Control project of e-Governance (CUBE).

The main purpose of the event was to share achieved experiences on the application of the ITASA online tool, building the capacity of supreme audit institutions and exchange of information on carrying out parallel audit biometric passport. In the framework of the workshop were shared the experiences use of the ITASA instrument by the SAI of Slovakia, Belgium, Lithuania and Estonia.

The EUROSAI Working Group on IT was created in 2002, the Court of Accounts is member of this group from 2013. The goal of this working group is to facilitate the exchange of experience between SAI and encourage the implementation of joint activities in the field of informational technologies.
