The Court of Accounts will continue its dialogue with the audited entities to identify good communication and cooperation practices.

This was mentioned today, December 7, during a teleconference organized by Transparency International Moldova (TI-Moldova), in the context of the presentation of the study focused on the opinions and experiences of the central public authorities (CPA) on communication with the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova (CoARM).

The study was conducted based on the results of a survey conducted by TI-Moldova to develop the subject of the institutional evaluation of the Court of Accounts in the light of the National Integrity System, analyzed in March. The survey was based on a questionnaire addressed to the heads of public entities and officials who communicated with the Court of Accounts during the external audits, with the participation of 14 CPAs (ministries and entities subordinated to them).

Marian Lupu, President of the CoARM, present at the event, mentioned the importance of such a survey for the audit activity, noting that the opinions of the respondents will be carefully examined by the institution's representatives and actions will be identified to improve the problematic aspects.

We mention that the results of the survey show a positive picture on the aspects included in the study. The purpose of the survey was to analyze the views of CPA’s representatives on relations with the Court of Accounts during the audits; auditors' behavior, professionalism and integrity; as well as the implementation of the CoARM’s recommendations.
