The President of the Court of Accounts will sue an employee for slander

In the light of the slanderous statements of the employee of the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova (CoARM), the President of the institution will sue the person for slander and defamation of the Head of the CoARM and, implicitly, of the institution as a whole.

The decision is conditioned by the mentioned statements, which denigrate the image of the person with public dignity and harm the image of the institution and the entire collective.

We mention that the disciplinary sanction was applied to the employee with a management position for non-compliance with the rules of conduct, following the decision of the Disciplinary Committee of the Court of Accounts. The slanderous statements were made immediately after informing the employee about the decision of the Disciplinary Committee regarding the application of the disciplinary sanction.
