The implementation of activities of the Project "Strengthening Capacity of the Court of Accounts of Moldova", supported by the World Bank, was discussed by foreign experts with the CoA's management, heads of divisions and members of the audit teams, involved in pilot - audits.
The experts of Kosi Company, Cris Shapcott and Jonathan McDowell were in a mission at CoA on February. They made presentations about activities focused on developing of audit methodology for auditing of three components of the national budget - state budget, state social insurance budget and the funds of compulsory medical insurance. During the meeting, the experts analyzed the current situation, stages of pilot - audits, elaboration of guidelines for compliance audit associated to performance audit of state insurance budget and funds of compulsory medical insurance.
Serafim Urechean, President of the Court of Accounts thanked foreign experts for their support for institutional development, mentioning the importance of the World Bank Project implementation.
The experts, being in a mission in Chisinau, provide consultations and support to the audit teams, examined the government report on the implementation and execution of the state social insurance budget and the funds of compulsory medical insurance for 2014.
