Tatiana Șevciuc was appointed as Member of the Court of Accounts

Today, May 19, the Parliament approved, in the plenary session, the draft decision on the appointment of Ms. Tatiana Șevciuc as a member of the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova.

Ms. Șevciuc's candidacy was proposed by the President of the Court of Accounts, selected in the public competition.

59 deputies voted for her appointment as a Member of the CoARM.

During today's plenary session, the new Member of the Court of Accounts took the oath.

Tatiana Șevciuc holds a PhD in Economics, and is an Associate Professor of Accounting, Auditing and Economic Analysis.

We mention that, according to article 17 of Law no. 260 from 07.12.2017 on the organization and functioning of the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova, the Members of the Court of Accounts, except for the President, are appointed by the Parliament for a term of 5 years, at the proposal of the President of the Court of Accounts, on the basis of a public competition, with the vote of the majority of the elected deputies.
