Restructuring the CPA, a topic discussed by the Court of Accounts and the ministry's representatives

The Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova (CoARM) initiated discussions with the representatives of the central public administration (CPA) specialized on the reorganization and restructuring of four ministries.

In this regard, today, October 21, was held a working meeting at the initiative of the CoARM with the Ministry of Finance and representatives of restructured ministries: Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Education and Research, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Labor, Social Protection, Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, and the Ministry of Environment.

At the beginning of the meeting, Petru Rotaru, member of the CoARM, referred to the creation of a platform for joint discussions with all restructured ministries in order to determine all the challenges and identify the risks during the implementation period of this reorganization.

During the event, the participants expressed their concerns regarding the deficiencies regarding the reorganization procedure, the inventory of the patrimony, the transfer of assets to the newly created ministries, etc.

The Court of Accounts was open to addressing and clarifying the challenges in further cooperation, with a view to preparing qualitative audit reports.

We mention that, according to the legal norm, the Court of Accounts has the obligation to perform the annual financial audit at all ministries, aiming at the execution of the budgets in the concluded budget year.
