In the context of the activities organized by the EUROSAI Information Technologies Working Group (ITWG), the representatives of the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova (CoARM) participated in the e-seminar on the topic: "Identify Yourself: The Indirect Path to Electronic Identity/e-ID".
The seminar was held online on April 19, bringing together members of the working group, which represent the Supreme Audit Institutions (SAI) within the European Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (EUROSAI).
The topic of electronic identification (eID) and its implementation challenges was the topic selected for discussion, based on the results of the latest survey conducted by the ITWG Working Group, as well as trends in the field of e-Government.
During the event, the experiences of several countries regarding the development of electronic identification and its services were explored. At the same time, the experience of European experts from supreme audit institutions was complemented by the comparative perspectives of the cooperation partners from the ARABOSAI ITWG Working Group.
