On February 3-4, the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova (CoARM) participated in the training session on monitoring the implementation of cross-border and transnational cooperation (CBTC) programs of which the Republic of Moldova is a party.
The Ministry of Finance, as the National Authority for European Union-funded cross-border and transnational cooperation programs, has initiated these trainings to monitor the implementation of the CBTC, in collaboration with the European Union CBTC Implementation Technical Assistance Project (TESIM).
We mention that, in the context of the restructuring of the specialized central public authorities, the executive approved the composition of the new national working group for coordinating the implementation of the Cross-border and Transnational Cooperation Programs financed by the European Union. The national working group will consist of 20 members, including 2 with an observer status and representatives of several public institutions, involved in the processes of programming and coordinating the implementation of the Cross-border and Transnational Cooperation Programs.
Thus, the working group includes representatives of the Ministry of Finance, State Chancellery, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, Ministry of Education and Research, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Culture, Regional Development Agencies, P.I. "National Council for Public Audit Supervision", P.I. „The Office for the Management of External Assistance Programs, as well as the Court of Accounts and the National Anticorruption Center (with observer status).
