On April 20, a group of students from the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (AESM) visited the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova (CoARM). The students of years I-III of studies, specialty "Law", Faculty of General Economics and Law, were guided by Alina Codreanu, university lecturer and leader of the Scientific Circle "Sub litera legis".
The objective of the visit was to inform and document the students with the activity of the Court of Accounts, in the context of the last topic within the discipline “Financial Law” - Financial Control.
The students visited for the first time the headquarters of the Court of Accounts. In this context, they were acquainted with the work of the Court of Accounts, the objectives and principles of the CoARM.
They also had the opportunity to visit the main compartments of the institution, as well as the CoARM’s museum, the meeting room. The guests were informed about the history of the institution, the performance of audits, the organization and management of the CoARM, the international development partners, etc.
Petru Rotaru, Member of the CoARM, communicated with the students from AESM, talking to them about the specifics of the position of public auditor, responsibilities and attributions, the mandatory audits carried out by the supreme audit institution, the importance and topicality of which is studied by young people and the possibilities of employment in the field of work, etc.
At the end of the meeting, the CoARM’s representatives wished the guests to pass the exams well, specifying that the CoARM offers employment opportunities to all those who have a thorough knowledge and are actively involved in activities aimed at changing things for the better in the Republic of Moldova.
