The Court of Accounts, as the supreme audit institution of the Republic of Moldova, was invited to delegate its representatives to the tenth session of the Council of supreme financial control bodies’ heads of CIS member states on September 29-30, 2010. The session is organized by the Chamber of Control of Armenia in Yerevan.
The event occasioned the meeting of supreme financial control bodies’ leaders of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russian Federation, Tajikistan and Ukraine, and presidents of supreme audit institutions of Poland, Estonia and Latvia, high level specialists in the field of public external audit within EUROSAI.
The session subject will focus, in particular, on the role of supreme audit bodies in the management of socio-economic processes in the country. During the session, President of the Court of Accounts of Moldova, Mrs. Ala Popescu, will present a national report on the Court of Accounts’ role in managing the country’s socio-economic processes.
