During September 26-27, a delegation of the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova (CoARM), led by Andrei Munteanu, Member of the CoARM, participated in the international conference organized by the Audit Authority of Romania (AAR) in Bucharest, Romania.
Also, this event was attended by representatives of 12 Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs), such as Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Cyprus, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Czech Republic, Estonia, etc. Trainers at this conference are the representatives of the SAIs of Germany, the Netherlands and Croatia.
The event was dedicated to the expectations and challenges of the 2021-2027 programming period, financed from the various funds of the European Union.
The meeting was organized in a form of plenary sessions and workshops, with the following topics discussed: risk-based management checks, ex-ante evaluation of simplified cost options and their subsequent approach in the audit, activity efficiency audit and statistical sampling methods, etc.
During the discussion rounds, the SAIs’ representatives presented their views and national practices, which led to fruitful discussions and learning experiences for all the participants.
