Joint experts mission from six countries in the context of the Twinning Project

In the period of 27 - 29 April, foreign experts from six countries are in mission in Chisinau in the context of the Twinning Project "The consolidation and strengthening of the External Public Audit in the Republic of Moldova".

The mission took place for the component "Legal Framework", the activity "Review of CoA current law in accordance with EU best practices and regulations of relevant international organizations".

During the mission were organized workshops and meetings, where the participants discussed the Law of the Court of Accounts and the legal framework related to this law, through analysis and comparison with the legislation of the Czech Republic, Finland, Poland, Portugal, Romania and Spain.

At these events participated the following experts: Wojciech Kutyla (Vice President of the Supreme Audit Office of Poland), Jury Inha (Finland), Enrique Alvarez Tolcheff (Spain), Svetlana Muresan (Romania), Eleonora Pais de Almeida (Portugal), Michal Pleticha (Czech). Also, the meetings was attended by the management of the Court of Accounts and the chiefs of the Divisions. 

The topics of the workshops aim to discuss the Court of Accounts Law 261 of 2008 and expectations of the revised law, legal frameworks business presentation by invited experts, various aspects to be studied during the review of the CoA's law, independence of ISA (SAIs) - financial autonomy and the audit of the financial statements of the CoA, the status of the employees and organizational structure of the ISA.
