Meeting of the Group of Auditors of the Joint Operational Program Romania-Republic of Moldova 2014-2020

During the current November 7-9, a delegation of the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova (CoARM), led by Andrei Munteanu, Member of the CoARM, participated in the Meeting of the Group of Auditors of the Joint Operational Program Romania - Republic of Moldova in Iași, Romania.

The event was organized by the Audit Authority of Romania and was intended for the representatives of the Audit Authorities of the programs financed through the European Neighborhood Instrument (ENI CBC).

During the meeting, the audit manual for ENI CBC programs was presented. Also, the representatives of the Joint Technical Secretariat of the program presented information about the actual performance of the program, the follow-up stage, the challenges of the next programming period and the actual status of the program, etc.

During the discussion rounds, the participants presented their opinions and national practices, which led to fruitful discussions and exchange of experience. The results of the 2022 system audit and the results of the 2022 operations audit were also addressed.

We mention that the general objective of the Program for the period 2014-2020 was to increase the economic development and improve the quality of life of people in the cross-border area through joint investments in education, economic development, culture, cross-border infrastructure and health.
