The Court of Accounts participated in the annual Conference in the field of internal audit

Topics such as international news and trends, innovative ways of reporting in times of crisis, development perspectives and challenges in the field of internal audit in crisis situations, but also other important topics were discussed by the participants of the annual conference in the field of internal audit with the theme "Internal audit embraces the future - change remains the only constant".

The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Moldova with the support of the National Academy of Finance and Economy of the Ministry of Finance of the Kingdom of the Netherlands organized the event on December 2.

The Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova (CoARM) was represented by Petru Rotaru, Member of the CoARM, who addressed the topic of the importance of cooperation between the internal audit and the external public audit, the advantages of establishing effective collaboration, challenges and impediments to strengthening the internal audit function, as well as other important aspects to ensure the efficiency of financial control.

The event gathered over 80 participants and brought together representatives of the profession, development partners, representatives of the academic environment, as well as other interested parties, to address trends in the field, exchange views and identify challenges and possible solutions in the system. International experts from the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Albania and Latvia presented the experience of the countries they represent in the field addressed.
