Annual meeting of the EUROSAI Working Group on environment audit

   The Court of Accounts, as a member of the EUROSAI Working Group on environment audit, was invited to attend the 8th meeting of the EUROSAI Working Group on environment audit, which performs its activity in Texel, Netherlands, in the period of October 5-7, 2010. Before the annual meeting, on October 4, a training workshop on sustainable energy will be organized.

The subject of the meeting will concern sustainable energy and environment audits’ impact, which are serious and challenging audit problems. The meeting will be attended by the experts from the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), International Energy Agency (IEA), European Court of Accounts, as well as members of the working group consisted of SAI representatives from 43 countries including: Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Switzerland, Estonia, France, Germany, Great Britain, Moldova, Hungary, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russian Federation, Spain, Ukraine, etc.
