On December 7-8, a delegation of the Court of Accounts, headed by Director of the IT Audit Department, Mr. Vladimir Potlog, makes a study visit to the Audit Office of Scotland. Discussions held during the visit will focus on the following subjects: - audit of municipal budget execution; - audit of an entity’s budget; - quality assurance audit.

Meeting with the European Commission’s experts

On December 7, 2010, two experts of the European Commission, Mr. Erwin Resiter and Mr. Bill Fraiser had a meeting with the managers of the Court of Accounts. The delegation of the European Commission engaged in an evaluation exercise of the Public Finance Management (PFM) system of Moldova against the situation of 2009 for a better planning of budget support.

In accordance with Article 4, paragraph 5, letter (h) of the INTOSAI statute, the 19th INCOSAI Congress decided to organize the event by the supreme audit institution of South Africa.
