The President of the Court of Accounts discussed the perspectives concerning the next EUROSAI Congress

On October 22, the President of the Court of Accounts, Marian Lupu, had an online discussion with the President of the State Audit Office of the Czech Republic, Miloslav Kala, the future President of the European Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions EUROSAI.

The conversation focused on how to organize the future EUROSAI Congress, planned for May-June 2021, in the conditions of the global pandemic. The SAI’s Presidents exchanged views on the evolution of the pandemic and the future perspectives of organizing major events within EUROSAI.

In this context, Mr. Kala informed about the intention to organize the EUROSAI Congress throughout teleconference, focusing on issues that are essential for the organization of the work. Mr. Lupu welcomed the intention, emphasizing the importance of approving important decisions for EUROSAI's work in a Congress, organized in a teleconference format, with an agenda focused on the key aspects of organizing the organization's activity.
