The challenges Moldovan citizens are expecting the Court of Accounts to meet are transparency, involvement and responsibility in the process of formation, management and use of public financial resources as well as efficient, economic and effective use of public assets. The Informative Bulletin is the Court of Accounts edition which is a means to be transparent in the process of information about the activity of the Court of Accounts and evaluation of the process of transformation of the supreme financial control body into a supreme audit institution in line with the best practice. It also allows us to be opened in our relations with other stakeholders. The bulletin includes various points of view that contribute to the formation of an adequate picture on what is going on in the process of transformation of the Court of Accounts and information about its interaction with other institutions and organizations. The Informative Bulletin also includes comments on the Strategic Development Plan which was developed with the support of foreign donors. The Informative Bulletin is a place for theoretical and practical debates on the most important problems in the activity of the Court of Accounts, financial control and practices in public financial management. It is conceived in a way to address an issue of great interest for us, namely audit, in general, and public finances in particular. The bulletin addresses theoretical and practical studies on the basic concepts, directions of improvement of the activity, synthesis of the legislative news that regulate this area; financial control and audit practice; legal practice (study cases); current external regulations and information, and other articles that facilitate the activity of the Court of Accounts. The bulletin also includes comments made by specialised teaching staff, researchers and students on economics, financial and legal areas, and by decision makers from public institutions and economic bodies.
